Where the law sits

Cannabis is federally legal in Canada for adults, but online, unlicensed mail-order retailers like BC Cannabis operate outside the provincial licensed retail system. Enforcement in practice focuses on large-scale trafficking rather than personal-use ordering, and the mail-order market operates openly while buyers weigh selection and price against licensed retail.

What that means for buyers

Order for personal use, keep quantities sensible, store products securely away from minors and pets, and never resell. Nothing here is legal advice — check the rules in your province before ordering.
